Cloudstaff, a global remote staffing company, has appointed Gavin Polizzo as Senior Vice President and Head of North America Sales. Polizzo will be responsible for shaping the company’s regional sales strategy and driving future growth across multiple verticals in the U.S. market, including insurance, logistics, technology, travel and tourism, and real estate.
Before joining Cloudstaff, Polizzo was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at U.S.-based solar energy provider PosiGen, where he led the company’s impressive recent growth and expansion throughout the country. Additionally, Polizzo served as Vice President of Sales and Operations in the Northeast region at ADP and spent 16 years in multiple sales leadership roles at Verizon, including National Director of Inside Sales.
“In today’s turbulent market, the ability for businesses to access the right skills and manage their employees in the most effective way is critical,” said Lloyd Ernst, CEO and Founder of Cloudstaff. “This is particularly true when it comes to scaling and engaging a remote workforce, which is why more and more customers are relying on our outsourcing platform. With a wealth of experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams, Gavin’s expertise will be invaluable as we look to continue driving growth. We’re delighted to have him on the team.”
This strategic hire comes after Cloudstaff reached a key milestone in 2022, achieving $100m in annualized revenue for the first time. It was also recognized among the Philippines’ top B2B companies for 2022.
“From rising labor costs to maintaining engagement in remote environments, U.S. businesses are facing significant challenges with attracting and retaining skilled employees,” said Gavin Polizzo. “However, Cloudstaff is supporting this increased demand for talent and adding significant value to businesses across the country. I’m very excited to join the company during this critical phase of its growth. I’m impressed with the level of technical innovation, dedication to solving customer problems, and the positive culture throughout the company. I’m looking forward to helping Cloudstaff reach the next stage of its journey.”
