Loyal staff are hard to find so when we find one, we should value them more than anything else.
Though it is a golden rule in any company that you must treat everyone fairly, Ms. Ann Flores (Cloudstaff Password Manager) deserves all the special things today since she is celebrating her 8th year with us!
Ms. Ann shared her not-so-secret secret on how she was able to stay this long in her job. She said:
Whether someone stays long in their job or not, it will always depend on every individual’s perspective. I did it by keeping three things in mind everyday.
Always be positive
Probably one of my ways to stay longer in my job is always being positive. There may be a lot of reasons to be grumpy, but there are a lot more reasons to be positive. Being positive will keep the work moving.
Work hard but work smarter
If you want to be successful in the long run, you have to put effort and ensure efficiency on all of your work. Working hard is great, but if you work smart, everything will be much easier and will render greater results.
Love your job and stop complaining
If you don’t like your job, you will always find reasons to abandon it, or worse, abandon the company. Stop complaining, because the more you complain, the more you will not see the good things in your job. It’s either you do what you love or love what you do, lucky for me, it’s both.
We also asked her, “How do you see your 9th year in Cloudstaff?” and we got this overwhelming answer:
“Well, as the first Filipino employee, I have witnessed the ups and downs of Cloudstaff. I have seen that as the company grows, part of it is my career and personal growth on this industry. I am excited for more years to come, and to continuously sustain the number 1 workplace in the Philippines.”
