Cloudstaff continuously makes efforts in building a safe workplace and keeping staff educated and prepared in case of any disaster that may arise.
National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) conducts quarterly earthquake drill to help prepare everyone should the “Big One” hit the Philippines. Last Thursday, 29th of June 2017, the second quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2017 was held.
Cloudstaff was one of the companies that took part on the drill that happened in SM City Clark. The SM Mall Administration gave a briefing to all participants regarding the evacuation procedures that was observed during the drill.
Our volunteer Cloudstaffers, headed by Sir Manny Lavarias, participated on this earthquake drill where they all together did the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” and became earthquake-ready. Cloudstaff feels safer now that our staff are well-informed on how to respond to the complications of an actual earthquake.
